2017 is not even half over, and we can already say this has been a breakthrough year for Crowdskout. We’re onboarding awesome customers every single day, forging new partnerships and rolling out awesome new features to the platform.
That means we’re growing internally too–we’ve been welcoming new members to our team on an almost weekly basis, and we expect to bring on even more new hires this summer.
One of those key hires is Shana Glenzer, our new Chief Marketing Officer who joined our team this week. Bringing Shana onboard is a big win for our team–she’s an experienced marketer who’s helped technology companies like ours magnify their reach. We couldn’t be happier to have her.
You can catch that news in DC Inno this morning, and check out the announcement we made to our network below, and help us welcome Shana and the rest of our new team members to Crowdskout.
Thanks to you, our terrific customers and members of the Crowdskout community for making this exciting growth phase possible.
PS It’s obvious we’re growing, but did I mention we’re hiring? Check out our jobs board and get in touch with us today!

Crowdskout, the leading CRM, data and civic engagement platform for advocacy and politics is pleased to announce the addition of Shana Glenzer to its leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer. The hire signals a new phase of growth for Crowdskout as it builds on recent key customer acquisitions and customer success.
“We’re really excited to have Shana joining Crowdskout–she’s a seasoned startup pro who will bring a lot to our team,” said Zack Christenson, CEO of Crowdskout.
Glenzer, a household name in DC tech circles, most recently served as CMO at MakeOffices after several successful stints at DC-based startups, including Blackboard and SocialRadar, where she helped lead the company to a successful acquisition. Glenzer is a cofounder of DCFemTech and organizer of DC Tech Meetup and has frequently appeared on national news networks including Fox News and Fox Business.
Headquartered in Washington, DC, Crowdskout formed in 2014 and has grown to a team of nearly thirty. Crowdskout consolidates all of a customer’s data, matching and integrating disparate datasets to allow customers to sift through data, find trends, build models, visualize, analyze and take action all in one place—empowering truly data-driven decision-making.
Crowdskout’s customers span large-scale presidential campaigns and party organizations to labor unions, trade associations and environmental and education reform nonprofits.
The company has raised more than four million dollars in seed funding. The addition of Glenzer marks the first expansion of the company’s senior leadership team since 2014. Lucy Caldwell, who previously oversaw the company’s marketing efforts as part of her portfolio, has been elevated to the global role of Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.
“We’ve been successful these last few years by focusing on building our product, engineering and customer success teams ahead of marketing,” said Christenson. “Adding Shana’s technology marketing savvy will help us to grow Crowdskout’s reach and signifies our next phase.”
