We take your privacy seriously and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose information from and about you, our Customers and users, and about other individuals who may be audience members of our Customers. This Privacy Policy governs the use and collection of information, the data enhancement, analysis of data, and execution of communications, calling or messaging functions, maintenance, support services and any other services, Crowdskout’s websites, Crowdskout Platform, mobile applications (“apps”), widgets, content or other products provided by Crowdskout (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. In addition, your use of the Services is at all times subject to our Terms of Service or other rules which may be posted on other pages of this website. The definitions set forth in the Terms of Service apply to this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of this website and the Services, including both those who use the Services without being registered with or subscribing to a Crowdskout Service and our Customers who have registered with or subscribed to a Crowdskout Service. This Privacy Policy applies to Crowdskout’s collection and use of personal information (i.e., information that identifies a specific person, such as name or email address), as well as Crowdskout’s collection and use of non-personal information (e.g., services usage, demographics). This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies or other third parties we don’t own or control.

If you do not agree to any of these terms and conditions, you should not use this website or any of Services. As set forth in the Terms of Service, you agree that any dispute over the terms contained in this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, or any other agreement we have with you, will be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to its conflict of laws rules.



We gather various types of information, as explained below, and we use this information internally in connection with our Services, including to personalize and improve our Services, to allow you to use our Services, to contact you, to fulfill your requests for Services, to provide and improve the Services, and to analyze how you use the Services.

Information You Provide to Us

When you visit or use our website or use the Services, you may be asked to provide us with the following types of information about yourself and others authorized to access the Services on your behalf: name, email, username, password, gender, organization name, zip code. In order to use the Services, you will be asked to establish an account and create a Customer profile, including providing certain financial information such as your preferred payment method. Certain Services enable you to upload and store certain information about the services you provide and activities you undertake via the Services, how you are using the Services, and information from third parties you or we may collect on your behalf, such as personal and non-personal information about individuals who are your audience members or candidate audience members.

Information We Collect through Your Use of Services

When you use the Crowskout Services, we collect information about you in the following categories:

Information About Your Activities. We may collect certain information when you access and interact with Services. For example, we may collect and record information about your computer, device, and browser, including your IP address, browser type, other software or hardware information, and other information about how you interact with the Services. If you use a mobile or other device to access the Services, we may collect a unique device identifier assigned to that device, geolocation data, or other transactional information for that device. Crowdskout does not track users who have chosen the browser-based “Do Not Track” signals.

Cookies and other tracking technologies (e.g., pixels, beacons, and Adobe Flash technology) are data that is stored by your web browser that provide a method of distinguishing among visitors to a website. These technologies may be used to collect and store information about your usage of Services (e.g., pages visited, content viewed, search queries, advertisements viewed). Crowdskout may use this information and combine it with other information it has to determine content and otherwise improve its website, Crowdskout Platform and the Services.

Access to the Services, and some parts of the website, are password-protected. If you check “Remember Me” upon sign-in, we will use a cookie to enable you to return to the password-protected areas of the website without having to re-enter your password.

If you wish to disable these cookies, please visit the help portion of your browser tool bar. If you disable these cookies, you may not be able to access certain parts of our website or other services.

Financial Information. Financial information connected to payments for your use of the Services may be collected or stored by a third party payment processor and is subject to that third party’s terms and policies.

Call and SMS Data. The Services may enable communications between a Customer and individuals who are audience members or candidate audience members of that Customer. In connection with facilitating this service, we receive call data, including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the SMS message. This communications service is facilitated through a third-party provider under contract to Crowdskout.

Audience Member List and Email Information. When you create a list of your audience members or candidate audience members using the Services, we may have access to this information. If these lists include the email addresses and other personal information of these individuals, such as financial information, we may also have access to this information. This Customer Data belongs to our Customers and we will not provide them to third parties or use them for other purposes.

Information from Social Media. If you access or log-in to Services through a social media service or connect to a social media service, the information we collect may also include your user ID and/or user name associated with that social media service, any information or content you have permitted the social media service to share with Us (e.g., your profile picture, email address or lists of friends), as well as information you have made public through your use of the social media service. When you access Services through social media services or connect from a Crowdskout Service to social media services, you authorize Crowdskout to collect, store, and use such information and content in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect from Other Parties

To provide certain Services to our Customers, we may search the Internet, request and integrate data from third parties, and employ other techniques to identify candidate audience members for our Customers, which may include personal information of individuals, such as name, email address, gender, demographics, IP addresses, location and their use of social media. This information may be combined with other information from our Customers to identify candidate audience members who may be interested in their activities and services. This information is Customer and we do not provide it to third parties or use it for other purposes.



We use and share the information we collect and you provide to operate, manage, and provide the Services, as well as to contact you with announcements and to provide information that might be of interest to you. We also use the information we collect and you provide internally for purposes of analyzing how the Services are used, to diagnose problems, maintain or diagnose security issues, and to personalize the Services. We may compile the information we collect and you provide with other users of the Services into an anonymized format to analyze and improve the Services.

Information may be shared with affiliated groups, including, but not limited to, third parties and administrators (for example, organizations assisting us, such as database vendors, etc.). These third parties are required to implement data privacy protections at least consistent with this Privacy Policy for any personal information they may be provided and process on our behalf.

Non-personally identifiable information (for example, anonymous website data usage, number of clicks, etc.) may be shared with interested third parties to help them understand the usage patterns for Services, as well as in advertising and with potential users of the Services.

We may also share your information with law enforcement agencies. For example, to determine whether there has been misuse of the web site or other systems, we may report personal information and other information shared with us to law enforcement officials. We may disclose personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that disclosure is necessary to conform to the law, comply with legal process served on us or our related organizations, or investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities, to enforce our Terms of Service, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend ourselves against third party claims or allegations, and to protect the security or integrity of our web site or the Services.

If you terminate or deactivate your account, Crowdskout may retain your profile information and any information posted to public areas of the website or the Services.



Certain functions of the Services, Crowdskout Platform and this website are hosted by a third-party service provider. Any information you submit through these services or the website may be processed by that third-party provider. We may also use other third parties to process your information to take certain actions. For example, third party service providers may be used to process and forward information for users who subscribe to email updates or request information.



We, along with affiliated organizations and our vendors, may contact you by email and texts to send you promotional materials or information about the Services, such as updates, improvements or offers. If you wish to be removed from receiving these types of email or text messages, you do so by sending an email to or by following the unsubscribe or “Stop” button included in these emails or text messages. Please allow up to ten (10) days for removal from these lists.

However, you may not opt out of emails from us regarding the provisioning of the Services you are using, billing and payment issues, System Alert messages (e.g., temporary or planned changes to the Services) or other transactional or relationship information.



If you log in or connect a social media service account through the Crowdskout Platform , we may share your user name, picture, likes, activities and comments with other Users on the same Customer account and with your friends associated with your social media service. We may share this information with the social media service provider. By logging in with or connecting to the Services through a social medial service, you are authorizing us to share information we collect from and about you with the social media social provider. You further understand that the social media service’s use of this information will be governed by the social media service’s privacy policy and applicable law. Do not connect to the Crowdskout Platform and use the Services with your social media services account if you do not want your information shared in this manner.



Crowdskout will not rent or sell your personally identifiable information to others for marketing purposes. Crowdksout may share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the purpose of providing the Services to you (e.g., credit card processing, market-research assistance, validation of your registration with Crowdskout). If so, such third parties’ use of your personally identifiable information will be bound by this Privacy Policy. We may store personally identifiable information in locations outside the direct control of Crowdskout (e.g., on servers or databases with hosting providers).



We may share your information when we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to protect, enforce, or defend the legal rights, privacy, safety, or property of Crowdskout (or its employees, directors, agents and contractors), including enforcement of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service; to protect the safety, privacy, and security of users of the Services or the public; comply with the law or legal process; protect against fraud and for risk management purposes; and to respond to requests from government authorities and law enforcement.

We may transfer your information in the event of a sale, merger, assignment, or transfer of our assets.



We regularly conduct analytics activities on the Services to determine the effectiveness of our services and how they can be improved. We have developed proprietary analytics software, algorithms and web tracking functions that may use personal information of users, combined with third-party data sources, to analyze the Services and our website. These analytics services may also be deployed by our Customers to improve their services and identify potential new audience members or other users.



We keep your information on a secured server and use reasonable administrative and technical measures to safeguard your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure and destruction. We also use other measures to enhance security, and may limit the use of the Services or website in response to possible signs of abuse. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Our credit card processing vendor uses industry-accepted security measures to protect your information both during the transaction and after it is complete.

Access and use of the Services requires a username and password you establish to log in. You must keep your username and password secure and are requested not to disclose them to a third party.



The Services or website may contain links to other websites. If you provide personal information to other websites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. You acknowledge and agree that Crowdskout is not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use or reliance on any content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such linked sites.



Crowdskout does not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under thirteen (13) years of age. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services or to comment on any portion of the Website. If you are not 13 years old, please do not send any personal information about yourself or attempt to sign-up for any of the Services.



The Services, Crowdskout Platform and website are operated and hosted in the United States. By using these services, you consent to having your personal information transferred to and processed in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will reside on our databases in the United States. The web- site, our Crowdskout Platform and Services operate in accordance with the privacy laws of the United States. Although we will collect and use your information only as stated in this Privacy Policy, United States law governing the protection of personal information may not be the same as those in other jurisdictions, including in your home country.

Under California’s “Shine The Light” Law, California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice identifying the categories of Personal Information which we may share with our affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes, and providing contact information for such affiliates and/or third parties. However, Crowdskout does not share your personally identifiable information with third parties for marketing purposes.



We reserve the right to modify the web site and/or the Privacy Policy at any time in our sole discretion. Visitors and users of the website and the Services are deemed to be apprised of and bound by any such change. Your continued use of the Services following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Privacy Policy as modified. The last date this Privacy Policy was revised is set forth above. Therefore, we encourage you to visit this page periodically to review our current policy.
